My name is Jason; I’m a 42 year old male with Friedreich's Ataxia - FA. Last year I took Long Term Disability from work and stopped driving. Recently, I did a web search on Friedreich’s Ataxia and receive information on fried fish. Needless to say, I was not very impressed. Because of the lack of information available to people who suffer from this condition, I set out to create a small web site to share thing that I know about Friedreich's Ataxia - FA.

My hopes with this web site are really two fold. I want to create a database of email addresses to be used as a contact list whenever a cure is found, and to share information with this online community. I was sent this article today as asked if I can share it. Basically, it says FA has been cured. At least Fratrxin addresses the cause of FA not the symptoms. Now they are working on a delivery method that will work on all cell types at the same time. Click here to read the document...
